No. The age of your home or its systems and appliances does not affect your ability to get a XPD Home Warranty. However, your appliances must be in good working order at the beginning of your contract.
No. Home inspections are not part of the criteria in order to enroll in a XPD Home Warranty plan. However, a home inspection may prove to be useful if you need to prove your machine did not break down due to a pre-existing condition.
No. However, we do offer coverage for many of the most frequently occurring breakdowns of home systems and appliances. The specific criteria will be explained in your contract.
No. Any known or unknown pre-existing conditions are not covered by the XPD Home Warranty.
Yes. A XPD Home Warranty can be purchased during homeownership. It is not necessary for you to be involved in a real estate transaction at the time of enrollment.
Your XPD Home Warranty begins 30 days after you sign up and lasts for one year.
If you can prove you have previous coverage with another company, XPD Home Warranty will be able to start your coverage once your old coverage expires.
Once you sign up, your use of the XPD Home Warranty is unlimited for the duration of your contract.
No. The XPD Home Warranty does not cover known or unknown pre-existing conditions, misuse or failure to maintain the systems and/or appliances.

Yes. Each time a technician comes to your home to repair a system or appliance, a service fee is due (price varies by location and plan). If a repair involves two different technicians, you will owe a fee for each one. Any additional fees will be covered in your contract. There is no limit to the number of repairs we cover.
Manufacturer warranties cost a significant amount more than the XPD Home Warranty. Manufacturers also only provide warranties for their own products. Think of all the appliances and systems you have in your house and how much you would pay for each of them to have their own warranties, not to mention the fact that warranties do not cover major home systems such as plumbing, heating, electrical and more. The XPD Home Warranty covers all of your appliances and all of your home systems under one plan with one low premium and one number to call for that day when more than one appliance breaks.
Yes. The XPD Home Warranty is renewable. You will be notified of your contract’s upcoming expiration date and the terms of renewal before the end of your contract term.
